Rocket House Tea Rooms Torcross (19 min) Sea Front Slapton Beach
“Divalicious” the critic said, this is a lovely place to eat, not only for the delicious food that is freshly cooked and really reasonably priced in comparison to some 'foodie' pubs of this quality. It is all really tasty and generous portions too. It also has the advantage of the scenery and setting that helps make it as special a dining experience as it is, as it is right on the beach at Torcross so you can see the coastline, and whether it's sunny or stormy, the views are fantastic. Also a great spot to walk and explore and then settle in with a drink and something to eat at the end of it. Great outdoor area to eat in also, and the staff are really friendly.

The Oyster Shack Bigbury (33 min) 01548 810876
Over the last 9 months we have really enjoyed running ‘The Oyster Shack'. We have met great characters and have been welcomed into the community. We have also come to realise how much ‘The Oyster Shack' means to you, the customer. This relaxed, unhurried, unique restaurant, with an extensive seafood menu continues to please and exceed expectations.
We aim to enhance these aspects through the improvements that we have carried out in February. The introduction of a fantastic new service bar offering cocktails and Wines the perfect compliment to seafood at any time. Furthermore we shall offer a light lunch menu for people on the move either walking the picturesque Avon River and coastline or wanting to relax on the stunning beaches nearby.
A combination of ˝ a dozen Oysters with a glass of Deutz Champagne or a large bowl of moules marinieres with a glass of Pimms. All of this compliments the long and lazy lunches that have become ‘The Oyster Shack' way. We look forward to welcoming you to the Shack!

The Winking Prawn Salcombe (44 min) 01548 842 326
Memorably and accurately described as a shabby beach hut, The Winking Prawn is a much loved landmark on the North Sands Beach at Salcombe. Slightly eccentric, utterly relaxed and extremely busy, the Winking Prawn is open seven days a week in summer from 10.30am till 11.00pm. Out of season it’s open at weekends, half term and holidays. It’s so much fun to eat there that the garden is often full to its capacity of 180 and inside seats 60. Part of the fun is dressing up from the owners fancy dress chest and joining in the fun to create a great atmosphere.
